Lego Brick Life launches in Fortnite on December 12th
No, that is not an April Fool’s headline (It’s December, silly). Epic Games announced today via X (formerly known as Twitter) that on December 12th, it is launching a mode in Lego Fortnite named Brick Life. Clearly inspired by Grand Theft Auto, it aims to be a fun party and roleplay type mode. Even the X post announcement has the GTA signature colors and styling on it. Some other games like Roblox have had this in the past (Brookhaven comes to mind) but this seems far more fleshed out. You can see the official announcement in the post below.
You can play with up to 20 friends can hang out in a roleplay scenario. Making money, buying houses, and heisting! A variety of vehicles are available and drivable in the world. While this will surely be a lot more tame than its GTA brethren, I’m sure there will be plenty of exciting things to do. We can also expect plenty of up updates in the future as well. Honestly, this sounds and looks pretty fun and I cannot wait to drop in and see what the fuss is about. I have played plenty of roleplay type servers for GTA in the past and they can be overwhelming. This is aimed at teens who play Roblox, Fortnite, and even GTA, so it should be a little easier to get into. The trailer is only about one minute long but gives the usual Epic Games flair. It’s worth checking out to see what you’ll be getting into. Brick Life releases in Fortnite on all platforms on December 12th.
